Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from July to September, an experienced glacier guide from the Ski School Tuxertal takes you on an exciting and eventful tour on the Hintertux Glacier.

At a breathtaking altitude of 3,250 m you will find our more about the surrounding mountains and enjoy the marvellous view. You walk across millennia-old glacier ice, past mighty turquoise ice falls, and learn interesting facts about the creation and the structure of our glacier. Another opportunity to learn more about the glacier is a guided tour of the magnificent Nature Ice Palace, which can be easily reached on foot from the top station of the Gletscherbus III.

From routes for beginners or families to challening moutain bike trails - there's something for everybody on our over 800 km of perfectly prepared routes of all skill levels. A comfortable family trip along the Ziller river - or do you want to conquer a 3,000 m peak? Our bike routes leave nothing to be desired.

Both an athletic whole-body training and the experience of Tyrolean natural landscapes are possible by walking with poles. To make sure you get the most out of this new sport from the start, it is recommended to take introductory lessons with a nordic walking trainer.

The nordic sports active center is located in Tux, the high alpine valley at the foot of the Hintertux Glacier. The ideal altitude offers perfect conditions for sport and nature lovers! The idyllic mountains (1,300-3,250m altitude) with healthy air offer in the summer 80 km of nording walking routes and 350 km marked hiking paths.
